About the Role
As a Materials/Planning Specialist, you will assist Program Managers with sourcing materials, manage inventory, perform critical path analysis, prepare reports on materials status, and develop process improvements. You will also coordinate the resolution of material shortages and overages, collaborate with stakeholders, and assist in vendor relations.
About You
Required:
- BA or BS degree with emphasis on Material Management, or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of progressively responsible planning and materials control experience in an engineering environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel with macros, look-up tables), PowerBI or equivalent data visualization software, and SAP/MRP/Oracle systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of materials management theories, processes, and practices.
- Familiarity with semiconductor operations.
