About the Role
As an Equipment Support Team Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various automotive vehicles, including over-the-road trucks and light combat vehicles. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with established methods and quality standards while working in a dynamic environment that supports the U.S. Marine Corps.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 5 years directly related work experience.
- Completion of the basic automotive mechanics course, or equivalent.
- Completion of the automotive organizational maintenance course, or equivalent.
- Completion of the automotive intermediate maintenance course, or equivalent.
- Completion of the advanced motor transport maintenance courses.
- Must maintain a valid passport.
- Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
- Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
- Must be deployable within 72 hours.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Base Access.
Preferred:
- Certificate from a vocational school or other recognized source with a major study in electrical or automotive repair.
