Summary
Solaris Healthcare is seeking an MDS Coordinator (RN) to join their team in Coral Springs, FL. The role involves assisting the Director of Nursing with ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Certification guidelines for documentation.
About the Role
As an MDS Coordinator, you will coordinate the RAI process, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of the MDS, CAAs, and Interdisciplinary Care Plan. Your responsibilities will include monitoring documentation standards, collecting resident data, facilitating care planning conferences, and ensuring compliance with OBRA and PPS requirements.
About You
Required:
- Currently licensed as an LPN or RN in this state; RN preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in MDS.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of the Federal Medicare PPS process and Medicaid reimbursement.
- Knowledge of the OBRA regulations and Minimum Data Set.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and public relations skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
- Computer literate.
