About the Role
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for handling repairs, providing regular servicing, making adjustments to engines and assemblies, examining critical parts for wear and tear, testing equipment for efficiency, and performing welding tasks as needed. You will work with various tools and machinery to ensure the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
- Must be able to operate the type of machinery being worked on.
Preferred:
- Experience working on and/or repairing Hydraulic systems on fleet vehicles.
- Automotive Service Excellence Mechanics Certification (A.S.E Certification).
- Certification for Fleet Repairs / Maintenance.
- Certification for Welding.
- Certification for Aerial Device Repairs / Maintenance.
- A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B CDL or Higher with Air Brake Endorsement.
