About the Role
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing damaged or worn parts on various vocational and utility trucks and equipment. You will work on diesel engines, chassis, drive trains, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Your daily tasks will include using software diagnostics tools and maintaining accurate records of parts, services, and labor to ensure quality standards are met.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with utility truck equipment, diesel, medium or heavy truck, or related equipment.
- Vocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic training.
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
- Must have your own tools.
Preferred:
- Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with software diagnostics such as Bendix, Wabco, Cummins Insite, and Nexiq Diagnostic Link.
