About the Role
As a Mechanic Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the inspection of vehicles, managing the workflow and activities of shop employees, ensuring proper training and equipment for employees, and communicating with the operations manager about reconditioning goals and issues. You will also assist in monitoring employee performance, use management tools to track production, and enforce company policies.
About You
Required:
- HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience in vehicle reconditioning, detailing, mechanical and/or body shop experience.
- Competent supervisory and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Preferred:
- Excellent people, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interaction skills.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
