About the Role
As a Mechanic, Steam Maintenance - II, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing steam boilers, pipes, valves, and associated equipment. You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and electrical failures in steam systems, conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections, and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Adhering to safety regulations and practices is essential to ensure a safe working environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of experience in Steam Systems.
- Proficiency in the use of maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and software related to mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Strong understanding of steam systems, pressure regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience with high-pressure, high-temperature steam systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
