About the Role
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling. You will align and calibrate using tools like lasers and dial indicators, report defective materials, maintain a clean work area, and complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma; two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with manager and staff both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and move 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stoop and kneel for frequent periods of time.
- Must be able to stand to operate machinery.
