Johnson Controls is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) in Chantilly, VA. The role involves providing mechanical installation support and ensuring customer satisfaction during CDU installations.
About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will partner with CDU Operation Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Sub-contractors to support CDU installations and customer training. Your responsibilities will include providing mechanical installation support, troubleshooting system problems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. You will also manage work tasks efficiently and participate in startup and installation meetings.
About You
Required:
- 4-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of on-site Project Management experience, or 2-year degree in Engineering with 10 years of Project Management experience.
- Ability to travel throughout North America, Europe, and Asia full-time.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
