About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for improving plant safety, providing technical support for maintenance, troubleshooting plant equipment, and managing engineering projects. You will also drive continuous improvement activities and provide engineering innovations to enhance productivity and reliability of plant equipment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution with 5 or more years of experience.
- Knowledge in design and project planning software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or Microsoft Project.
- U.S. person status as defined by ITAR regulations.
Preferred:
- Project Management Certification (PMP).
- 5 or more years of experience working in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of industrial hydraulics and ability to troubleshoot hydraulic circuits.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of interpersonal skills to motivate and influence others.
- Demonstrated problem solving, systems thinking, project management, and team building abilities.
