About the Role
About You
- B.S. or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design using 3D CAD and supporting analyses (stress/strain, thermal, mass, tolerance, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of materials properties and applications, as well as fabrication methods.
- Experience taking a product or assembly from initial concept through to production manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CATIA v5 or v6 and/or 3DX.
- Automotive, aerospace, or safety-critical industry experience.
- Experience with automotive functional safety (ISO26262) standards.
- Experience with chassis and/or electro-mechanical systems.
- Knowledge in wire harness design (3D/2D) is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive pay rate of $91.36 per hour (W2).
- Contract duration of 6 months with likely extension.
