About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a team that tackles complex Digital Engineering challenges, applying your skills to modernize DoD weapons and sensor systems. You will interact directly with customers and engineering personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. The position requires on-site work in Dahlgren, Virginia, and is contingent on contract award expected in March 2026.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Ten (10) years of professional technical experience, including at least five (5) years in maritime, launcher, missile, weapon, or weapon control systems.
- Experience in mechanical engineering analysis and design, utilizing mechanical engineering software tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience with structural design and analysis, finite element analysis, fluid dynamics, and thermal dynamics.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, LS-DYNA, or Craft Tech software.
