About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will develop high-volume electromechanical products from concept through production. Your responsibilities include driving mechanical design, translating customer needs into product specifications, designing innovative systems using CAD tools, integrating electronics, optimizing designs for manufacturing, validating performance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical product development or 2+ years in a related industry
- Experience with injection molded plastics, stamped metal components, and high-volume manufacturing
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks
- Ability to solve thermal and structural problems using CAE tools (FEA, CFD)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
Preferred:
- Experience collaborating with electrical and software engineers on electromechanical products
- Understanding of UL standards and certification processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
