About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer Project Consultant, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers in mechanical engineering design efforts. Your tasks will include investigating and solving mechanical engineering issues, coordinating detailed design phases, developing integrated systems designs, preparing technical specifications, and mentoring less experienced engineers. This position requires a hybrid work schedule with in-office work three days a week.
About You
Required:
- BSME from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program is required; MSME preferred.
- Fifteen or more years of experience in the design of mechanical engineering systems for non-commercial, heavy industrial plants.
- Five or more years of experience in leading an engineering design team through all phases of a project design.
- PE license.
- Ability to create design schematics using computer design software.
Preferred:
- Construction and start-up experience.
- Commissioning experience.
