About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will manage design changes, improve manufacturability, resolve production issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include leading design updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating design documentation, conducting engineering analyses, performing root cause investigations, and supporting verification and validation testing.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
- Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals: GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, and materials.
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of standards and regulations.
Preferred:
- Medical device industry experience.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA design controls.
