About the Role

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for consulting with clients, vendors, engineers, and contractors to develop estimates, resolve issues, and ensure scope clarity. Key responsibilities include performing quantitative take-offs, preparing proposals and scope letters, attending pre-bid meetings, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.

About You

Required:

5+ years related experience in the construction industry.
High School diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Proficiency in PDF viewers (Adobe or BlueBeam).

Preferred:

Familiarity with estimating software (AutoCAD Fabrication EstMEP, Quotesoft, etc.).
Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.
