About the Role
As a Mechanical Plant Engineer, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, lead facility and equipment upgrade projects, establish preventive maintenance schedules, supervise engineering and maintenance team members, collaborate with other departments, identify process improvements, ensure compliance with safety standards, and provide training on new equipment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical or project engineering, ideally in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
- 3-5+ years of experience supervising or leading a maintenance or engineering team.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, refrigeration, and facility utilities.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and priorities while staying on budget and schedule.
