About the Role
As a Mechanical Power Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and customizing mechanical solutions to meet client-specific requirements, creating 3D models and 2D drawings, maintaining BOMs, and providing technical support during manufacturing and installation phases. You will also ensure compliance with industry standards and collaborate with various teams to align project goals and timelines.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent.
- 3-5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in design-to-order or custom engineering.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a design-to-order or custom engineering environment.
- Familiarity with medium voltage switchgear, utility systems, or the power industry.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro E; Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience.
- Candidates with EIT certification on the path to Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
