About the Role

You will ensure compliance with laws and regulations while providing direct and indirect supervision to your team.
About You
Required:
- Current NYS Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent-permanent status as a Medical Assistance Specialist 1, G-18.
- Six years of experience in developing and analyzing health-related policy and determining financial eligibility for healthcare programs.
Preferred:
- Experience in public health insurance programs, including New York's Medicaid and/or Medicare.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
