Summary
Kettering Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/LPN - Primary Care to join their team in Xenia, OH. The role involves assisting in patient care duties and providing administrative support in a physician office setting.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will work under the supervision of the provider and/or practice manager, assisting in the examination and treatment of patients, measuring vital signs, recording information in patient charts, and preparing treatment rooms. You will also be cross-trained to enhance the efficiency and continuity of patient care delivery.
About You
Required:
- Current Medical Assistant certification/registration or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification within 15 months of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program with a current Ohio license.
Preferred:
- 1-year clinical experience in a medical/physician office setting.
- Practical knowledge of examination processes, diagnostic and treatment room procedures, and medical equipment.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
