About the Role
As a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you will perform a high volume of phlebotomy, maintain supplies for blood drawing stations, assist with the clinical care of fertility patients, ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs, provide patient counseling and education, take vital signs, and support customer service excellence.
About You
Required:
- Strong phlebotomy skills required.
- High School diploma; Associates degree preferred.
- Completion of a formal MA program.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology.
Preferred:
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow-through.
- High degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry.
