About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will perform assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a licensed provider. Your responsibilities will include taking vital signs, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, and maintaining examination rooms. You will also assist in emergency situations, handle administrative tasks, maintain patient records, and ensure a clean and safe environment in compliance with health standards.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) is required.
Preferred:
- One year work experience preferred.
- Preferred certification is the CMA or RMA.
