About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will float to Primary Care, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Ortho, and Surgical offices. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for medical examinations, charting medical histories, maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, and performing clinical tasks such as vital signs, phlebotomy, and assisting in minor surgeries. You will also ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and maintain infection control in the office environment.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience providing direct care as a medical assistant or related role in a healthcare setting.
Preferred:
- Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant program from an accredited school or Associate's Degree.
- 2 or more years of experience in a physician practice.
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant.
