About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including ordering supplies, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, taking vital signs, preparing clinics for patient visits, assisting with clinical procedures, and performing basic lab tests. You will also function as a receptionist, scheduling appointments and managing patient communications.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent; AND possession of a current/valid medical assistant certification for Certified Medical Assistants.
- High School graduate or equivalent; AND graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of relevant work experience for Uncertified Medical Assistants.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of electronic health records and patient management systems.
