About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will engage with patients, explain medications and treatment plans, conduct preliminary evaluations, perform clinical procedures such as taking vital signs and phlebotomy, administer medications under supervision, document patient information accurately, collaborate with clinical team members, and support the training of new clinic team members. You will be required to work 12-hour shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and must be able to travel within a one-hour distance to other ConvenientMD locations for shifts or training.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant certification with experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of patient triage experience in urgent care or emergency departments.
- Compassionate and proactive communication skills.
- Technical proficiency with software systems.
