About the Role
As a Medical Assistant - Cardiology, you will deliver direct and indirect patient care, assist in collecting healthcare data, prepare patients for examinations, and perform clerical functions. You will also communicate pertinent information to the physician or nurse, ensure compliance with documentation standards, and assist in maintaining patient safety and infection control processes.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED or next level of higher education.
- Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Outlook and Excel.
Preferred:
- Previous outpatient office experience.
- Medical Assistant Certification.
