About the Role
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing patients for treatment, testing, and examination by a Provider. You will assist the Registered Nurse with patient flow, connect patients with ancillary services, maintain work areas and exam rooms, and stock supplies. Your daily tasks will include managing patient flow, administering medications, assisting with patient education, and upholding clinic policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Current Medical Assistant Certified license with the State of Washington.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card.
- Basic level of written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and mathematical skills.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish, including verbal and written communication.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy.
