About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing patients for physical examinations, obtaining specimens, conducting routine laboratory tests, and performing clerical duties related to clinic operations. You will work under the direction of a supervisor and general supervision of a physician, administering medications and injections as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association.
Preferred:
- Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) with at least 6 months of clinical experience.
- Candidates with at least one year of clinical experience who are not certified or registered.
