About You
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Medical Office Assistant program that allows for MOA certification exam.
- National Medical Assistant Certification.
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
- Fingerprinting as per State of Alaska requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development.
- Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office.
- Familiarity with desktop computing tools and insurance billing.
- National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
