About the Role
As a Medical Assistant - Float, you will be responsible for interacting with patients for scheduling and follow-up, delivering protocol-driven care, and implementing health education initiatives. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure appropriate care, assist with physicals and screenings, coordinate referrals, and maintain effective working relationships with staff and patients. This position may require travel to different sites and has the potential to transition into a full-time role based on business needs.
About You
Required:
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) required prior to onboarding.
Preferred:
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout an organization.
- Knowledge of disease and lifestyle-related topics such as smoking cessation and nutrition.
- Smart Phone Required - 250 MB for time keeping app.
