About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will work under the direction of healthcare providers to assist in patient examinations, treatment planning, and health care coordination. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for visits, obtaining vital signs, documenting patient information, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the exam rooms are stocked and clean. You will also perform clerical duties and follow up with patients as directed by providers.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or 1 year of experience in a direct patient care role.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearance certificates.
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in a related field.
