Premise Health is seeking a Medical Assistant - PRN to join their team in Solon, OH. The role involves providing care to client employees and their dependents in a health center setting.
About the Role
As a PRN Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, maintaining health records, preparing treatment rooms, administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and assisting with administrative tasks. You will work on an as-needed basis during clinic hours, which include Monday & Wednesday from 6:30am-3:30pm, Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00am-6:00pm, and Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm.
About You
Required:
- National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization or Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed.
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers.
- CMA certification required from a recognized certifying body.
Preferred:
- Previous Medical Assistant experience.
