About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, assisting with patient flow, answering phones, making appointments, collecting co-pays, and managing billing. You will also be involved in maintaining electronic medical records and performing simple laboratory procedures.

About You

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of healthcare experience.
One year of medical terminology experience.
Knowledge of the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard.
Experience in clinical pharmacology.
BLS certification.

Preferred:

Graduation from a medical assisting degree/program.
One year of healthcare/medical primary care/office experience.
Medical Assistant Certification or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
