About the Role
As a Medical Assistant Assistant Certified, you will be responsible for a variety of clinical, technical, administrative, and clerical duties. This includes preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, administering medications, and documenting patient care. You will also handle office tasks such as scheduling, billing, and completing medical insurance forms.
About You
Required:
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
- Job Related Certification from one of the following: CMA (AAMA); RMA (AMT); CCMA(NHA); NCMA (NCCT); RMA (ARMA); NRCMA (NAHP); or RMA (AAMP).
Preferred:
- No experience required, but completion of the Prisma Health Certification Institute (PHCI) Fast Track Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program is accepted in lieu of education.
