Premise Health is seeking a Part Time Medical Assistant to join their team in Avon, IN. The role involves providing care to client employees and their dependents in a Health Center setting.
About the Role
As a Part Time Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, maintaining health records, preparing treatment rooms, administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and assisting with administrative tasks. You will work 20 hours per week, specifically on Tuesday and Thursday from 8-5 and Wednesday from 9-1, starting in late August 2026.
About You
Required:
- National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization or Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands-on externship completed.
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers.
Preferred:
- Previous Medical Assistant experience.
- State Lab Certificate (NV only).
- CMA certification from recognized certifying bodies.
