About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for scheduling and greeting patients, gathering health histories, recording information in electronic medical records, assisting with medical exams, taking vital signs, gathering specimens, and providing health education to patients and families. You will also help patients complete paperwork and prepare communication materials, as well as drive the mobile medical unit as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of MA training program.
- Current CMA or CMOA certification.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record.
- Valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and ability to be insured.
