Summary
The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team in Cedar City, UT. The role involves performing routine clerical and clinical tasks while assisting the Primary Care Provider and ensuring quality patient care.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for completing patient documentation, maintaining inventory, assisting with facility cleaning, conducting pre-authorizations, and coordinating care with various teams. You will also support patient self-management, facilitate advanced care planning, and ensure timely processing of billable services.
About You
Required:- High School diploma, equivalent GED or higher.
- One (1) year experience in back office in a medical/clinic setting.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid First Aid, CPR and/or BLS Certification within three (3) months of hire.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Medical Assistant Certificate within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred:- Valid Medical Assistant Certificate.
