About the Role
As a Medical Assistant Certified, you will assist providers in patient care, including examinations, procedures, and administrative duties. You will ensure compliance with medical standards and participate in patient care under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying eligibility for care, and maintaining accurate medical records.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Two years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinic/outpatient setting or one year in the Novice-II position.
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA) - American Heart Association.
- Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, NHA or Registered Medical Assistant or EMT.
Preferred:
- CPT – Certified Phlebotomy Technician (ACA).
