About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for recording and relaying patient information, performing clinical intake and documentation, implementing age-appropriate interventions, and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. You will also assist with administrative tasks and ensure high standards of patient care in accordance with UVA Health policies.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) credentials, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinic setting.
