Summary
Insight Health Systems is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team in Flint, MI. The role involves supporting the delivery of patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with staff and providers to ensure exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include screening patients, performing data entry, maintaining medical records, assisting physicians during exams, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. You will also be responsible for administering medications, collecting specimens, and performing various clinical tasks as needed.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to show superior patient care.
- Must be able to achieve CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
Preferred:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree.
- One year certificate from college or technical school.
- Previous healthcare experience of 1 year.
- Familiarity and previous experience working with EMRs.
- Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) Certification.
