Summary
ENT and Allergy Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team in Fort Pierce, FL. The role involves providing comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for answering patient calls, taking vitals, obtaining authorizations, scheduling diagnostic tests and surgeries, preparing exam rooms, assisting physicians in procedures, scribing, and cleaning and sterilizing instruments. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and support.
About You
Required:
- Minimum one-year HANDS ON Medical Assistant experience.
- Current with certification or willing to participate and pass in-house training course and national test.
- Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- EMR experience.
- Strong computer literacy.
Preferred:
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
