About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will meet patients and prepare them for procedures, assist with walking transfers, dressing, and collecting specimens. You will maintain infection control by cleaning exam rooms and instruments, keep records, order and restock supplies, and assist doctors with various procedures. The position requires coverage for other locations when needed and involves documenting actions in EMR while following HIPAA regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of Word & Outlook.
Preferred:
- Orthopedic and/or casting experience.
- Knowledge of GE Centricity.
- Medical Assistant Certification.
