Connecticut Children's is seeking a Medical Assistant - Hartford County - Part Time to join their team in Hartford, CT. The role involves performing a variety of administrative, clinical, departmental support, and documentation duties to promote the health, safety, and comfort of CT Children's patients and families.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting patient check-in and check-out processes, scheduling appointments, answering calls, and maintaining medical records. You will also ensure efficient patient flow, prepare treatment rooms, perform initial patient intake, and assist with lab testing and documentation. Additionally, you will provide departmental support, maintain inventories of medical supplies, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; vocational training may substitute.
BLS/CPR for Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 1 month of hire.

Preferred:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
