About You
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
- Ability to obtain State Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire (RMA/CMA).
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Computer literate with familiarity in Microsoft Word.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
- Up-to-date and documented immunizations.
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant.
- State Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program.
- Experience in a community health setting.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

The Native American Health Center is a non profit organization serving the California Bay Area Native Population and other under-served populations in the Bay Area. 2017 marked NAHC's 45th anniversary; as an organization, we have been serving our community since 1972. NAHC has worked at local, state, and federal levels to deliver resources and services for the urban Native community, including medical, dental, behavioral health, diabetes, obesity, substance abuse prevention, HIV/HCV care coordination and prevention.
