About You
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California or equivalent on-the-job training.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- 1 year of recent relevant experience.
- General knowledge of various medical procedures and equipment.
- Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Competent in basic Medical Assisting skills such as taking vital signs and administering injections.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records (EHR).
