About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support in patient care, including administering injections, taking vitals, recording chief complaints, and assisting with minor surgeries. You will interact regularly with patients and staff, ensuring a welcoming environment and demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
About You
Required:
- Valid unrestricted WA State Medical Assistant Certification.
- BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.
- High school diploma plus completion of a minimum of one academic year in a medical assisting program.
Preferred:
- 1-4 years of previous work experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Associates degree in medical assisting and/or certified medical assistant.
- Proficient in medical terminology and medical office procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn in-house programs, including EHR system.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
