About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, recording information on patient charts, and preparing treatment rooms for examinations. You will also be cross-trained to enhance efficiency in patient care delivery and will work cooperatively within a team to ensure quality patient care.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and current CPR certification.
- Up to 1 year experience in a medical/physician office setting.
Preferred:
- Current and active RN or LPN licensure.
- Experience with EKG, injections, and venipuncture.
- Ability to perform common lab tests according to established guidelines.
