About You
- Certificate from a clinical Medical Assistant school or accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program with active LPN license
- Completion of a 160 hour externship or 6 months direct patient care experience in an outpatient setting
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification from AHA or American Red Cross
- Knowledge of medical office practices, examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
- Skill in taking vital signs and assisting with treatments
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and quality control standards
- Ability to communicate clearly and react calmly in emergency situations
- Bilingual skills
- Ability to learn and be proficient in electronic health record documentation
