Tri-City Cardiology is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team in East Mesa, AZ. The role involves assisting physicians with patient care in a medical office setting.
About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for verifying chart preparation, following clinical protocols, updating patient records, obtaining vital signs, and maintaining supply inventory. You will also cross-train for additional diagnostic testing as needed and may require local travel to other Tri-City Cardiology locations during the business day.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medical Assistant diploma.
- Current BLS certification (must be obtained in 90 days if not current).
Preferred:
- Previous MA experience preferred.
- Cardiac experience preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
