About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the medical provider with patient care activities, maintaining exam rooms, collecting patient data, updating medical records, and performing selected clinical duties such as injections and vital signs. You will also handle clerical functions, manage patient follow-ups, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
About You
Required:
- Current certification from a national Medical Assistant certification body or obtain within 3 months of hire.
- BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
- Working knowledge of and experience with the use of clinical equipment and materials.
